The Ashcombe Village Club is always a hive of activity and a relaxing place to have a beer and soak up local gossip. Open to all on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and some Saturday nights plus Sunday afternoons.
The club was originally formed in the 1940’s and has been extended and improved over the years. The club has two main purposes: to be a community centre for those living in and around Ashcombe and to raise money for charity as a not-for-profit organisation.
In the last 8 years the Ashcombe Village Club has donated over £85,000 to various charities making it one of the most successful per-head fund-raising institutions anywhere we would think. Events such as The Bramblebasher’s Clay Shoot, The Village Fete, The Produce Show, The Village Olympics and The Ashcombe Horse and Dog Show are all great fun and help to raise extensive charitable funds. People come from near and far to be part of the Ashcombe Family.
The Hall can be booked for private events and parties.
