Ashcombe Village Club

The Ashcombe Village Club is the social heart of the community—a lively hub where locals and visitors alike can relax, enjoy a drink, and catch up on village life. The Club is open to all on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, selected Saturday nights, and Sunday afternoons. There are regular skittles tournaments and bingo nights.

Originally built in 1938, the Hall has been extended and improved over the years.  It still serves two key purposes: as a welcoming community space for those living in and around Ashcombe, and as a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to raising funds for charitable causes.

Over the past 13 years, the Village Club has donated more than £130,000 to a wide range of charities—an exceptional achievement for a community of its size. A vibrant calendar of events, including the Addington Farmhouse Breakfast, Bramblebasher’s Clay Shoot, Ashcombe Village Fete, Village Olympics, and the Ashcombe Horse & Dog Show, brings people together from near and far, combining great fun with meaningful fundraising.

At its core, the Club embodies the spirit of the Ashcombe community—friendly, inclusive, and generous. The Hall is also available to hire for private events and celebrations, offering a unique and characterful setting.
