The Woodland Kitchen was established in 2020. Combining the magic of dining in the woods with fine food and spectacular views over Ashcombe and the coast, it is a unique 'eating out' experience.
Shepherd Shack's Chef Scott Harrison-Jones developed the outdoor restaurant in partnership with the estate. Dining under canopy with upcycled fire pits for warmth, the locally-sourced food is cooked on site.
The menu varies with local harvesting and hunting. Brixham fish, estate venison and local vegetables are often available.
As the sun goes down decorative tree and distant city lights appear, setting the tone for a wonderful dining experience. please bring warm clothes, a torch and alcoholic drinks.
