A Touch of the Wild is a Forest School based in Ashcombe for children and families to learn about woodlands and nature. The camp is in Grammarcombe Woods and offer events ranging from Family Easter and Halloween specials to spoon carving courses and much more. Their regular programme of events is sure to make for a great day out.
Keep children occupied during your stay at the Holiday Club for 5 years and over. It runs during the school holidays (except Christmas and February half term). Children are guided by expert staff to discover new things in nature – campfire cooking, toasting marshmallows, whittling, bug hunting and learning cool woodland skills. Giving you the chance to spend the day sightseeing and making the most of your Devon holiday. Be warned though – they might want to come back every day!
Parties of 8 or more can learn bushcraft and survival skills. Discover how to build a shelter that can withstand rain or light a fire without matches. A Touch of the Wild can run a bespoke event just for you and your group.
